Echoes of a time when giants ruled the dunes of Denmora, the tombs buried beneath the sands still speak of their dominion.
Og, the last Jotunn King of the desert, brought all of Denmora to its knees.
His slaves were said to number as the grains of sand themselves.
Venerated as a living god, Og's greed drove him to defy the gods themselves, seeking immortality.
Now cursed to an eternity of undeath beneath the sands he once ruled, he and his legions are known as the Tombsworn, undying, unyielding, and forever vigilant.

Tombsworn Skeletons

"In life and in death, we serve the God-King Og."

The skeletal guardians of the desert tombs are known as the Tombsworn. Even in death, these fallen warriors continue to serve Og, the last and most terrible of Denmora’s Jotunn Kings, who once defied the Lords of Mundus.
Armed with brutal bronze weapons forged in an age when iron was yet unknown, the Tombsworn guard the countless giant tombs and vaults buried beneath the southern sands.
Eternal slaves, in life and in death, they know no mercy. Any traveler who dares wander into their domain should beware, no matter how tempting the riches hidden within.

Tombsworn Nephilim

The Bronze Age of Denmora was a time of darkness and terror, and the tombs beneath the dunes still echo with the sacrilegious horrors committed under Og’s reign.
The Nephilim were towering, deformed creatures born from forbidden rituals that joined the blood of men and Jotunn.
Formidable in battle, they were chained and starved until their minds broke and they became beasts of war.
Now, only their bones remain, but even in undeath, they serve the damned king as enormous skeletal guardians of his most precious treasures.

Guul'Rath, Dune Tomblord

"You cannot kill what has already claimed dominion over death."

When Og, last of Denmora’s Jotunn Kings, still walked the world in flesh, Guul'Rath was already a lich of terrifying power.
It was his acolytes who built the city of Setrek, where he reigned supreme centuries before it fell to Rakshakin, Djinn, and later, demons.
But his forces could not withstand the endless legions of Og. After a war that lasted for years, the city was conquered by the Jotunn King’s armies.
Og, ever cunning, spared the lich and welcomed him as an ally.
Legends say that Og’s undeath was made possible only through Guul'Rath’s forbidden rites.
The necropolis where the lich rests is said to lie east of Setrek. Even the demons of Baal avoid that cursed region: necromantic energy there is so potent that even the dunes above are strewn with skeletons.

Shadukor, Fallen Centaur

"Tremble, like the sand beneath my hooves. Our kingdom will never fade."

Among Og’s most feared lieutenants was Shadukor, lord of the southern centaurs, whose people served the Jotunn with pride and brutal efficiency.
Master of the sappara blades, Shadukor led countless charges across the desert, razing villages that refused to pay tribute to the God-King.
The atrocities committed by the desert centaurs knew no bounds, for this reason, men from the south still today cultivate a deep hatred for centaurs.
Those who didn’t flee were captured and enslaved within the ever-growing ranks of Og’s armies, their flesh used for unholy experiments.
It is said that Shadukor still stands guard over Og’s resting place, protecting the secret path leading into the tomb.

Iskama, Mummified Priestess

"You call it death. I call it preparation."

Iskama was a high priestess of Setrek under Guul'Rath’s reign, which was eventually absorbed into the dominion of the Jotunn King.
Unlike other Denmoran cultures, her people practiced full-body mummification, believing it essential to endure the transition into undeath. In fact, many ancient tombs in the grave district of Setrek are still riddled by restless mummies.
As the chief embalmer and scholar of necromantic rites, Iskama willingly submitted herself to the ritual, becoming both a servant and a relic of the old cult.
Wrapped in unholy linen, she continues her vigil in the halls of the dead with her master Guul'Rath.

Og, Last Jotunn King of Denmora

"Let the gods tremble upon their thrones... for I made the world kneel without their spark, and without their mercy."

Og, the last Jotunn King who ruled Denmora, descended from a dynasty of warlords who ravaged the southern lands.
When his ancestors arrived in Denmora, no army could stand against them. A handful of Jotunn could tear through entire militias, crushing men and women like insects beneath their feet.

After the destruction of many settlements, the tribes of the south bent the knee, offering precious tributes of gems, metals, and blood in exchange for survival.
But the Jotunn who came from the north wanted more.

Within a century, all of Denmora was enslaved. The giants forced their slaves to build monuments in their name and vast subterranean strongholds and necropolises were excavated.

Yet no giant-king was more feared than Og, scourge of mortals. He demanded hundreds of blood sacrifices each day, his thirst for flesh unending. So cruel was he from birth that he strangled his own brothers and father in their sleep while still a child, to ensure his place on the throne.

As an elder among giants, his armies had grown so vast that he dared to challenge the divine lords of Mundus.
Through unholy rituals, he sought to be reborn as the Lord of Blood and Death, ruling over all mortals.

It was Duum, God of Murder and Blood, who struck him down in single combat. But through Guul'Rath’s magic, Og had already defied death, rising again as a towering skeletal Jotunn, retaining his cunning and cruelty.

In response, the Lords cursed him and his entire lineage to remain forever trapped within their tombs.
Sealed beneath the sands, they were condemned to an eternity of dust, silence, and unending vigilance.
